"It will never happen to me" , says many people. The Truth is you will not understand until you experience first hand. COVID is no joke; it is real. We hope none of you who see this have to endure what my family and most of all our beloved Mother/Grandmother/ Great Grandmother, had to go thru.
Maria L. Rodriguez was a Care Giver, and was always putting others before herself. She was 68 years old, and a Front Line Worker. A True Hero. She had contracted COVID while on the job despite having all the Personal Protective Equipment. (PPE). She had no underlining conditions and was as healthy as can be for a woman of her young age.
She leaves behind her Husband and 4 kids, who are still under the age of 18, to raise all by himself. Although he has support with his oldest children to help him with arrangements as they get through this together help is still needed. Unfortunately unlike most situations; COVID has proven to make being together as a family more difficult as everyone in the house is experiencing symptoms and trying to get through this together. This has caused loss of income and stress with all the funeral arrangements needing to take place while still trying to provide a roof over their head, food on the table and medical bills that are incoming from the ER visits to the emergency call to try and help her before she was gone.
Anything helps. A share. A Dollar. A New Perspective on how serious this is. Please don't spread the virus. Prevent it. We ask that you wear a mask and wash your hands. We don't want you or anyone you know to experience what we are right now.
Stay Safe and In Good Health
